A picture is worth more than a thousand words, especially when one needs more than a thousand words to explain a car accident. This is why gathering photographic evidence is important in a car accident.

Make sure to photograph all of the damage to both the cars involved in the accident. Along with pictures of the cars, getting photographic proof of the other driver’s license plates and driver’s license is crucial to avoid any confusion or verbal misunderstandings.

Record as much information about the accident as possible. This includes everything that occurred in the vehicle’s immediate vicinity, such as skid marks, impact debris, the location of both vehicles, and shattered glass.
